The Artios Awards for Excellence in Casting were first presented in 1985 and have evolved from an awards luncheon in Beverly Hills to a series of simultaneous events in Los Angeles and New York with more than twenty casting categories for work in film, television and theatre. The award is presented to CSA members who receive primary screen (or program) credit for casting on the winning project, as well as CSA members with location casting and associate casting credits.
