ICDA members prominent at 2024 Berlinale

The 2024 Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) will run from 15th to 25th February, and many of our casting director members have films showing .

Films in Competition

Four of the films cast by our members are showing in competition.

For LANGUE ÉTRANGÈRE, director Claire Burger and her French and German
producers, together with 3 casting directors, have put together an exciting cast
of famous actors and fresh faces from both countries. The compelling story of a
school exchange can be seen in Competition, and we will hear about its
extraordinary casting process.

ICDA is an official partner of the EFP European Shooting Stars Programme

From 16th to 19th February 2024, seven actresses and three actors will be presented to the international press, industry, and public in an exclusive four-day programme during the 74th Berlinale (15 – 25 February 2024), with major support by Creative Europe – the MEDIA Programme of the European Union. One of the programme’s many highlights will be the European Shooting Stars Awards Ceremony on 19th February 2024 at the Berlinale Palast. ICDA is an official partner of the programme.
