“Quo Vadis, Aida?” was the big winner of the 34th European Film Awards, which took place in Berlin on 11th December 2021. The film won three awards for Best European Film, Best European Director, and Best European Actress.
Casting credit on the film is shared by ICDN Casting Director Rebecca van Unen and non-member, Narcisa Cvitanovic.
The film by Jasmila Zbanic is an international co-production with Bosnia & Herzegovina, Austria, the Netherlands, France, Poland, Norway, Germany, Romania, and Turkey. It had its world premiere in 2020 as part of the Mostra competition in Venice, and in spring 2021 it entered the race for an Oscar for the best foreign-language film as a proposal from Bosnia & Herzegovina.
